Orchid Villa

Lifestyle patterns and needs are constantly evolving. This design was curated for a female CEO living in Kuwait. The client is a single lady enjoying her time hosting friends and family as well as working on her business and developing her strategies. As an orchid lover, the design was initially inspired by the orchid petals to inform the plan. Each of the petals carry a function and are distributed around a central space which is adjacent to a floating feature tree. The colors chosen for the finishes are soft and earthy. The landscape is minimal and verging on a natural feel. The orchid plan offers exciting views from different corners of the villa. The project was presented a concept level to be studied as the client is still residing in her previous home. The client, also involved in the real estate industry commissioned the design as a feature home that leverages its unique conceptual design and story telling aspect to boost the property value and in that she also sees it as an investment.
