The existing palace has a simple architecture with floral motifs integrated on to gypsum panels in the ceiling and some walls. Repetitive columns framed the terrace entrance.

The outdoor area to be designed was split into a green and concrete paved area. The idea proposed was to create an enticing and mystical experience using the abstraction of vegetation using fluted glass and mirrors. Repetition of slim elegant elements was also used to create a playfulness.

Two large rectangular platforms of 1m height are proposed in the concrete areas and also serve as the new entrance into the palace. The platforms have seating areas on them as well as integrated green zones, benches and mirror walls. The green space is dedicated to outdoor majlis and lounge seating propsed in three wooden platforms designed to inegrate the greenery, mirroring, floral art and wooden balustrades to create a dynamism in every view.
